1. It rained right after you put down the application, is that a negative influence?

Depending on the treatment, rain can actually help maximize the products we use, ex: any fertilizations, Landscape pre-emergent, Grub control, and any seeding or sod applications. If there are any doubts regarding the effectiveness of our products, we will re-app at no charge to our customers.

 

2. Do I have to notify you each time I want treatment or can I pre-pay for my plan ahead of time?

Weed Man is a continual service company, in order for us to optimally meet your lawn care needs. We give our customers the opportunity to prepay for their service, and very many of them do just that. It can be most advantageous to have a documented history of your lawn care needs, therefore your service will be automatically renewed each season.

 

3. How do I know how to take care of my yard after your products are put down?

When our service technician finishes treatment, he will leave a Flag and an invoice with instructions printed on it pertaining to the particular service applied, unless you want that invoice mailed. If you have any questions or concerns, you are always welcome to call our local office and our friendly office staff will be happy to try and help.

 

4. What if I’m not happy with your service, what are my options?

We guarantee you a healthier, better looking lawn. If you are not satisfied with our service and promised results, we will visit your home within 48 hours and try to resolve the situation. If we’ve exhausted all our resources, and you are still not happy we will understand if you want to discontinue doing business with us. Our promise is to treat your lawn as our own, and we’ll care for your lawn, guaranteed!

 

5. Do you have any services that take care of insects or other pests?

We can spray your lawn for fleas, ticks, chiggers, and ants. We also offer Grub and Mole control prior to the time of year they are most active. Preventive maintenance is our priority.

 

6. What if your equipment damages my property, what recourse do I have?

If our equipment or technician does any property damage, we do stand behind our commitment to customer satisfaction. We will try and rectify the situation to the best of our ability and will take full responsibility for documented damage.

 

7 .What if I only want one or two services, or what if I only want my front yard taken care of, can I have that option?

The most optimal care for your lawn includes a minimum of 6 treatments throughout the season; however, you may pick and choose any of those services, or add on any service of your choice for the current year. We work closely with our customers to provide the best plan for their needs.

 

8. What about my flower beds, they are full of weeds, can you help with that?

Yes, we can help with flower beds. The best time to treat the beds is in the early spring. We use a pre-emergent product at that time, and can re-apply as often as needed throughout the growing season.

 

9. I have several large trees and ornamental shrubs, can you take care of those for me?

Absolutely! In the Lexington Kentucky market, Weed Man has the added benefit of Tree and Shrub service because we fall under the Hillenmeyer Company umbrella. Our managerial staff of three have turf management degrees, and are very knowledgeable regarding trees and shrubs. Our technicians are insured and licensed, and have several years experience regarding lawn care and dispensing our products.
